Text: At the time of its introduction the Savage 99 was one of the most advanced designs of any American sporting rifle. It featured a unique rotary magazine that allowed the use of spitzer bullets in a lever action rifle. It has a small cartridge counter allowing the shooter to see how many rounds remain. The solid top of the action made adding a scope possible. The Model 99 EG is a well balanced, quick handling rifle with a classic look. This rifle is ready to get back out there and hunt.
