Description:
Very nice Remington Double Derringer chambered in .41 Rimfire Short. This timeless design was manufactured from 1866-1935, with over 150,000 total produced. This Type III Model No. 4 was produced circa 1910 and remains in excellent mechanical condition. The barrel hinge is free of any damage, cracks or repairs. Unlike most of these derringers, the bores on this gun remain in excellent condition with bright sharp rifling. The metal is smooth, free of pitting and retains approximately 70% of the original bluing. A very nice example of its type in perfect working order.
