Description:
Manufactured during the first year of production in 1956. The early 2nd Generation SAA comes in a 7 ½” .38 Special with blue/case colored finish. It has just the lightest loss of blue on the left side of the muzzle and high edges of the cylinder. There is evidence of a drag line but not a lot. No wear on the back strap or the trigger guard. It also comes with what I can only assume to be the original Black Box. I can make out the first two letters marked on the bottom of the box with a wax pencil and they match the serial number on gun but does not have label on end of box. Case color is nice with no wear and none of the screws have been buggered. I would call this a solid 96-97% gun condition wise.
