This Colt was produced in 1979. The pistol's serial number is 65979B70. It is the standard government model with the 5 inch barrel. The bore is bright with no issues. The slide has the high polish sides with the no glare top. The frame has the no glare finish,The original bluing is stunning with the high polish surface! The bluing would rate a strong 97% or better condition. The barrel has the correct Mark IV Series 70 stampings over the ejection port. The grips are original to this pistol. These grips are in fine condition. This Colt also has the correct magazine for this pistol. This Colt has no after market add ons or alterations. This is a well cared for Colt that has seen little use. These series 70 are getting to be very collectable today. This is a very fine condition example of these pistols!
