This Winchester was produced in 1935. The rifle's serial number is 742845. This Winchester has the standard round 20 inch barrel. The front sight is the Lyman globe folding sight. The rear sight is the Lyman three position folding sight. The tang sight is by Marbles. The bore is in new condition and is bright and clean. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. This Winchester shows very little use or being fired. There is very little blue loss where the pump handle slides back and forth on the magazine tube. The hammer shows hardly any blue loss due to being cocked. The barrel and magazine retain almost all of the original bluing. The original bluing would rate a strong 97% overall condition. The reciever and bolt bluing shows high polish finish. The original bluing would rate a strong 97% or better condition. The stock and forend have all of the original factory finish. There is no cracks or damage to the wood. There is only one light pressure dent on the left side of the stock by the wrist. The butt plate is in fine condition with no chips. This is a very fine near new condition Model 1906 22 Rifle! The special sights make this rifle stand out! It is very seldom that you find a Model 1906 in fine condition. Most of these rifles saw hard use and wear due to their popularity as a all around 22 rifle. This Winchester has been well cared for and has survived the years in this stunning condition!
