Payment Types Accepted: Credit Card, Money Order, and Cashier's Check Description: This Marlin was only produced for two years. It was produced from 1909 to 1910. The rifle's serial number is 5799. It shoots the 22 C.B. Caps and 22 Shorts only. It has the 23 inch round barrel with the factory standard sights. The tang screw has the big knurled knob to help unscrew the screw to easily remove the stock. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. The reciever take down feature is tight with no abuse. The bore is well used but still a shootable bore. The barrel and magazine blue would rate a 96% overall condition. The reciever would rate a 90% overall condition. The stock has several dents and scratches. The stock varnish is mostly intact. The pump handle is in fine condition with no varnish loss. This is a rare variation of the Marlin 22 pump series of rifles. Being chambered for the C.B. Cap and Short is what makes this model stand out. Most of these 22's saw rough service and handling. This rifle is in far better condition than most of these Model 25's out there now. It certainly is a collector quality little 22! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
