Description:
***SOLD***Enfield No. 2 Mk 1 revolver made by the RSAF, chambered in .38/200, more commonly known as .38S&W. This revolver is a bit unusual, however our research has determined that the revolver is likely the result of an "ordnance modification", meaning soldiers modified the guns themselves, or had them professionally modified while in their possession. The barrel is shortened to 2", a round blade front sight has been added. The pistol is double action only as well. The modification is done quite nicely, and appears to have been a professional job. This style of ordnance modification is common on Enfield revolvers, and often referred to as a "Tanker", and though it is not certain if tank crews actually used this specific configuration, its easy to see why it would be desirable for a tank crew member when in the tight quarters of a tank. The revolvers' bakelite grips are in good shape and the lanyard loop is present. The revolver functions nicely, and the chamber/bore surfaces are excellent.
