Description:
Up for sale is an early W.C. Scott heavy 10 gauge hammer double. It has 30" cyl/cyl barrels with only one or two small areas of light pitting, otherwise bright. The hammers are tall and graceful, and there is a good deal of the original case coloring left. And the wood- beautiful figure! I have shot this gun, and it functions perfectly with 2 7/8" reloads. The case has seen better days, and holds together but its rough. There is an engraved metal on the lid with "A. Williams Detroit" on it. This is a neat hammer duck/goose gun, and one that is eminently shootsble!
