Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are way proud to offer this fine example of a Winchester 1894 from an era when you could order one just the way you wanted it. This one boasts no less than 6 special order features. It is a takedown with checkered pistol grip 2X walnut, a 26 inch half octagonal, half round barrel, half magazine, and a hard rubber shotgun butt. Made in the year of our Lord 1898, she is in great condition for being 122 years old. The blue has mostly drifted to patina, but the stampings are very clear. The action is smooth and crisp, and the half cock safety works as designed. Even the bore is very good, with plenty of shine and strong rifling. She takes down in about 10 seconds, and locks up tight just as fast. The factory slot is under the barrel to hold fast the takedown lever. The nicely figured checkered walnut is very good condition, with only light handling marks and a great fit around the tang. The hard rubber Winchester logo butt plate is original, and has begun to brown out, but looks great. The icing on the cake is that all these features are verified by the fine folks at the Cody Museum. Since it is an antique, it will ship directly to your door. This lever gun is fitted with the only receiver sight the collector will accept, the climbin' Lyman model 21 sight. It has the combination peep sight, which is actually matted on the back side. These deluxe Winchesters are ever increasing in value, and prove to be a sound investment. I see another seller has a very similar gun with a chipped butt plate, plain wood, and no Cody verification for 6600 dollars. There is another very similar gun listed on this site for 9500. I will list this one for much less. If you have been looking for the right '94 to collect or for investment, but want the added clout of a feature laden deluxe, then look no further.
