Description:
1st generation Colt 38-40. Very nice engraving done many years ago. The engraver is unknown. This gun has nice petina and one piece Ivory grips. My favoriate guns have been 38-40, 44-40 through my many years of collecting. These were the real guns that the coboys carried. They could buy the same caliber for both pistols and their rifles. This made it very convienient.
