Description:
Serial #39354, .310 Cadet, 25" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some dark freckling within the grooves about halfway down. This is a “COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA" marked rifle with kangaroo on the receiver, and retains 90-92% of the original blue finish with silvering along the high and exposed edges, as well as some small areas of gray metal at the rear “hump" of the “VIC" stamped receiver. The walnut forend and buttstock have scattered minor handling marks and light blemishes in the armory reapplied military oil finish along with some minor impact marks around the forend pin. A still sharp and legible Victoria cartouche is present on the right side of the buttstock. The mechanism is tight and fully functional. This is a fine example of a Victoria marked Martini Cadet rifle, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
