Description:
Lightning Rifle This Colt Lightning Rifle is of the Small Frame variety and is chambered in .22 S or L but not LR. It was manufactured in 1900 and is in fair shape. The rifle has a 24” tapered octagon barrel with a semi buckhorn fixed rear and blade front sights. While the wood and the metal of the rifle is in fair shape with many dings, scratches, and dents, as well as a dark patina all over, there are no cracks in the furniture. Though the fore end grip is loose to the underside of the barrel, it is secure and cycles the action without issue.
