,,,SOLD>>>A Civil War era double barrel percussion pistol most likely made in Belgium,.This has a 4 1/2 round barrels and strong rifling of the 19th century, no name or ID present as is true of most export guns. Locks work good the left lock however doesn't always catch and can be fired at half cock,I suspect the sear needs the notch recut.Side plates are typcially chisel engraved Left barrel near the breech has an ove, with LEG. The European walnut wood bag grip is good, and has signs of age. The exterior metal is dark brown patina and a few shalow dents along the side of the right barrel. There are patches of very fine pits in places..Check my inventory of rare grips, unusual gun parts, barrels and holsters. Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
