1989 SMITH & WESSON MODEL 629-2 "MOUNTAIN REVOLVER" (LIGHTWEIGHT) .44 MAGNUM 4" STAINLESS PRE-LOCK REVOLVER. All matching. Factory brushed(matte or bead) stainless finish perfect with no signs of handling save slight drag line to cylinder. Mint bore and chambers. Factory sights(front balck ramp correct). Upgraded early style "Coke-bottle" shaped S&W medallion grips and crisp checkering. Screws unturned. Perfect working order with almost NO signs of use nor carry. The "Mountain" version (intro 1989) was a lighter weight than regular production with rounded grip(under full size wood panels). Prime example. Also referred to as the "Mountain Gun" when reproduced years later. 1st or 2nd year for the "Mountain" series.
