Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 in the powerful and versatile .338 Win Magnum. S/N 520*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1961. 98% Blue over majority, slightly more wear at floorplate/balance point. 95% Varnish with scattered light handling marks and impressions. No cracks or gouges, no extra holes drilled. 25" Barrel with an excellent bore. Mechanical functions are smooth and correct.. Factory issued solid red recoil pad is positively original (not a repro) yet looks practically new. This is a very clean, solid and all original rifle chambered in one of the greatest big game cartridges of all time.
