This .45-70 Govt. Harrington & Richardson Springfield 1873 Cavalry Model Saddle Ring Carbine has a 22” blued tapered round barrel mounted with an original adjustable 1873 trapdoor rear sight and a bead front sight. The bore is in very good condition. The left side of the barrel reads U.S. Model 1873 Cal. 45-70 Government. The right side says Harrington & Richardson, Inc. Gardner, Mass. Made in U.S.A. The trap door reads U.S. Model 1873 Cavalry Model. The Walnut stock is in good condition with the exception of some light handling marks and features a color case hardened steel buttplate with U.S. stamped on the top. Mounted to the left side of the stock is a saddle ring base that is missing the ring. Overall length is 41-1/4", length of pull is 13-1/2" and weight is 6.6 lbs. Our stock number is C30. Will ship to any FFL anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
