One of the last P-38's assembled by Walther in the closing days of WWII. This gun is listed as one of the known late war AC45 Zero Series P-38's in the recent book "The P.38 Pistol" by Alexander Krutzek and Orvel Reichert. It's estimated that less than 1,800 of these guns were produced out of surplus commercial parts. All serial numbers match and all Nazi marks are intact. No import marks. Dark brown grips are in beautiful condition. The original finish has almost no wear and the bore is like new. This is the nicest Zero Series I've seen. The magazine is late-war issue and marked P.38V over U. C&R eligible. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
