This very nice, WWII Remington Model 03A (1903A3, 1903 Springfield ) is guaranteed to be a genuine, all GI rifle that was refurbished after WWII and refitted with a replacement barrel. The bore is sharp and bright, showing no visual sign of use. It should make an excellent shooter and is a solid candidate for CMP competiton. The bolt assembly, stock furniture, triggerguard and butt plate are all typical 03A3 configuration, and all visible markings indicate Remington manufacturer. The face of the bolt shows minimal evidence of wear, consistent with a very low round count. The correct period stock set is in very good to excellent condition and is marked with the original inspector's cartouches and gallery markings, There is also a rebuild stamp indicating that this rifle was refurbished at the SA. The sling is in excellent condition and is marked with a Korean War era MRT date.This fine piece would make an excellent representative of type - especially at this price point, and as previously stated has the potential to be a competition grade shooter as well. There is a 3-day, non firing, no disassembly inspection period starting from the time of delivery to your FFL holder. All returns must be recieved in the exact same condition in which they were originally sent to the buyer. Buyer pays all shipping and FFL transfer fees.
