Birmingham, England "Demon Gun": A 12 Bore Hammer Toplever Back Action Game Gun That Remains in Excellent Original Condition, Made in the Golden Era of 1935, Marked on the rib "Demon Gun", Rebounding hammers, 28" extractor dovetail lump barrels with dolls head extension with a third bite, At .730 .002 & .029" (Cyl. & Imp.Mod), 2 1/2" chambers, The forcing cones opened by a full time professional, Wall thickness on the right barrel at .035" & .034" on the left, Flat matted tapered rib, Birmingham Nitro Proved at 1 1/8 ounce, Double triggers, Pull down Deeley & Edge forend release, Splinter forend, Open Pistol grip stock at 14 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 2 3/8" over a solid buttplate, Nice cast-off for the right hand, 6 lbs. 12 oz., 80% coverage of engraving with a quite nice English Setter and a Pointer, The original barrel blue at 94%, The gun retains 30% original case colors, The stock finish is original and at 90%, The checkering at 98%, The bores are excellent plus from breech to muzzle, The barrels are smack on the face with plenty of bite, The barrels ring with a nice chime.
