Description:
This is a near mint pre 64 Winchester model 70 Featherweight in 30-06 Springfield cal.. I would describe this as a lightty used rifle in excellent overall condition. It would rate a conservative 95-98% condition to the original wood and metal surfaces, with only minor handling marks to the wood, and one pin head size mark on the aluminum floor plate. All script and proof marks are crisp and clear, bore is excellent, sight package is correct and original, sling loops and butt plate are also original and in nice shape. The bolt is serial numbered to the action, as it should be, and the rifle doesn't appear to have ever had a scope mounted to it. This is a collector quality Featherweight from 1961, with S/N 5316xx, that would compliment nearly any Mod 70 collection. $35.00 S&I to lower 48 states.
