Description:
This .50 caliber Kentucky rifle has a browned octagon 15/16" x 39" GR Douglas barrel with 1:66 twist that is fitted with fixed sights. The bore is very good. Inscribed on the top flat of the barrel is HWP - AWL. The P+++ grade Maple stock is mounted with a mix of brass and German silver furniture, including a pierced patch box. All the metal furniture has been very tastefully engraved. Simple but very tasteful carving embellishes the stock around the wrist, forend and behind the cheek piece. The engraved Large Siler percussion lock is activated by RE Davis double set triggers. Comes with a brown nylon ramrod. Length of pull is 14-1/4", overall length is 56", and weight is 9.2 lbs.
