Description:
1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE, .44-40 CALIBER, #820XXX, MADE 1917. A basically solid carbine showing good very lightly aged blue on both the barrel and magazine. Has the correct late barrel markings of “MODEL 92 Winchester .44 WCF” on the left rear ahead of the receiver. Receiver is mostly gray with fine blue on the loading gate and a few light surface dings on the top of the bolt. Butt stock and forearm show normal handling with a very small chip at the top of each tang/receiver juncture. Tight action, saddle ring intact, bright bore, 3-leaf express rear sight.
