Description:
This is a somewhat rare little Remington model 580 single shot with a smooth bore designed for the 22 LR shot cartridge. This model gun was built from 1967 - 1978. This example was built in 1974, and is in great shape for it's age. It shows only tiny handling marks to the factory finished stock, with no cracks, gouges, or repairs. The blued surfaces are all original, with crisp script and virtually no wear. Original butt plate is intact and damage free. The smooth bore is bright and shiny in the 24" barrel. The sight package is original, and the receiver is factory grooved if you want to scope your little 22 shotgun LOL. Collector quality piece.
