Description:
This is an unusual gun in several ways. It has a special order 28 inch barrel in 1 weight and has a single set trigger (Rare). The caliber is 38 WCF or 38-40 caliber and the bore in near perfect (rare). It was made in 1890 and the internals have strong case colors. The exterior metal has turned a plum brown. It has the usual scratches and dings that come with a 130 year old gun. The claw marks on the right side of the butt stock may have been made by a mountain lion. A good story, but unlikely to be true. Over all a good sound low wall in an interesting caliber with several unusual features. As always refer to the photos to deturmine condition.
