Description:
This is an excellent condition Savage model 99EG in 300 Savage caliber. This rifle still retains 98+% of its original deep blue finish to the metal, with virtually no imperfections to the receiver, barrel, and lever, other then the rub areas on the lever, and a little thining blue on the metal butt plate. It has a Williams receiver sight in the factory tang holes, a mid-range blank, and the original front sight. The 24" barrel has an excellent bright bore, with strong rifling and crisp clear script. The lever has vivid case colors, and has the safety incorporated in it. This rifle has the brass shell counter. The stocks are in great shape, with nice sharp checkering, and no cracks or repairs. There are a few light blems in the wood from normal use, and I don't beleive this model came with sling lugs, but it has them. All in all she's in exceptional condition.
