FROM CAESAR GUERINI’S : Chosen as the best new shotgun by a panel of experts at Outdoor Life Magazine, the Magnus Light is truly an extraordinary shotgun. Every detail is carefully considered to reduce weight and maintain balance. The frame and fore-end iron are machined from a solid forging of the best aircraft grade aluminum alloy. Durability is insured through the use of hardened steel at all high-wear points. To make the gun as light as possible and maintain perfect balance, we hollow the stock and craft the fore-end hardware from the same alloy as the receiver. If you hunt demanding terrain or just appreciate a light, responsive bird gun, the Magnus Light is the shotgun of choice. Every Caesar Guerini field gun comes with a velvet lined lockable hard case and five precision patterned chokes (CYL, IC, M, IM, F). A plastic choke case is also included.
This Magnus Light, sn110832 built in 2006, is in near new condtion with 100% barrel blue, 100% nickel alloy finish on the receiver, and just a few light handling marks in the wood. The gun came to us with 5 extended “COMP N CHOKE” screw-in choke tubes in IC, LM, M, IM, LF, and F choke constrictions. Flush mount screw-ins are available if you choose to have a more traditional look. We at Vintage Firearms are primarily upland bird hunters and thus appreciate the dynamic handling characteristics of this light and balanced Caesar Guerini Magnus Light. When traversing miles of heavy CRP fields, muddy grain plots, or thick grouse woods, a lightweight gun makes the day less tiresome. Caesar Guerini has become a very respected maker of very durable and nicely decorated guns and this Magnus Light is no exception. These guns sell for over $5000 new. This gun is near new and a lot less of an investment and includes over $250 of special-order extended competition chokes.
