Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 14-5, K-38, double-action revolver, with 6-inch full lug barrel, original combat wood grips, combat trigger (0.312 inch wide) with smooth face, target hammer (0.500 inch wide) with checkered spur, open adjustable rear sight, black partridge front sight, and bright blue finish.  The revolver has a three-screw configuration, with one screw (#3) under the stock.  The year of manufacture is between 1991 and 1994.  There is no box, papers, or accessories with this revolver

The overall condition of this gun is 99 percent.  The metal portions of the gun are practically perfect, except for the cylinder-lock scar (see photos).  The original Morado are perfect; there are no mars or blemishes of any kind.  Unfortunately, as mentioned above, there are no box, accessories, or owner’s manual.

The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details.  Please excuse the oil smears in the photos.  Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better.

The buyer pays USPS Priority mail ($40) and insurance, if insurance is desired.  I will accept a personal check, but will hold the gun until it clears.  I will also accept USPS money orders which I do not have to hold, as they clear immediately.  I will accept other type money orders, but will hold gun until they clear.    Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall.

NOTES:
USPS money orders are limited to $1,000, so two USPS money orders will be required for this purchase.

Cost of insurance is calculated at $4.60 for the first $300 of value, plus $1.20 for each additional $100 of value (rounded up).  Insurance for the full value of this gun would require two USPS money orders, one for $1,000 and one for the balance of $400, calculated as follows:

First money order:  $4.60 (for first $300) + $8.40 ($1.20 X 7) = $13.00.
Second money order:  $4.80 ($1.20 x 4)
Total cost of insurance:  $13.00 + $4.80 = 17.80
