Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: The Budischowsky TP-70 was the brainchild of German engineer Edgar Budischowsky and was put into production in 1973 by the Norton Armaments Company in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. The TP-70 featured all stainless steel construction, a SA/DA semi-automatic recoil-operated action, a 2.6" inch barrel, a 7-round detachable magazine (.22lr), and checkered black plastic grips. It was offered in both .22 Long Rifle and .25 ACP. The Budischowsky TP-70 quickly proved to be an excellent little pocket pistol, both very reliable and accurate despite it's very small size. It remained in production until 1977. This particular example was made in the first year of production and is serial number 538. It is in excellent overall condition and comes complete with it's original factory box serial numbered to the gun and the original owner's manual. It appears to have been fired very little and has apparently spent the vast majority of it's life in storage. The stainless steel shows only some very minor handling and storage marks and no bad spots or visible wear to speak of. The bore is in excellent condition and shiny, with nice sharp rifling throughout the barrel. The checkered black plastic grips are in excellent condition overall as well. Both sides are free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or defects. These grips only show some very minor handling marks under close inspection, consistent with the rest of the pistol. All of the controls on this Budischowsky TP-70 are in perfect working order, and the slide to frame fit is superb. We have no doubt that this vintage pocket pistol would function just as reliably today as the day it left the factory. If you have been looking for a unique and scarce new pocket pistol for your collection this vintage Norton Budischowsky TP-70 would be a great choice. SOLD Manufacturer: Norton Armament Co.
