Description:
Offered for sale this Vintage 1939 Long tang Mod 71 Short 20 inch Barrel in 348 Win. Caliber with original Bolt mounted Peep sights ! Some time during its use it was tapped for a Williams Scope Side Mount!
This rifle has been hunted with by its owner who lived in Western Montana for Elk and Mule Deer over the years!
It still retains about 85% plus Blue and wood finish ! There is bluing wear on the forearm end cap caused from scabbard use over the years!
The stock has a little finish loss from use! The Rifle bore is clean and shiny and has been well maintained !
