Scarce Early Colt Python - 1956 - Low Serial#1371 - 6 Inch Vent Rib - Blue Finish - "Most Desirable Of The Colt Seven Serpents" - 1956 Early Production - All Original with about 94% original blue still showing - Walnut Checkered Grips with gold medallions, and wear consistent with the use of the revolver but overall in nice condition - Python depicts handling marks, has cylinder drag evidence, mechanically excellent - depicts evidence of holster wear in common places at some point during its existence - end of barrel, front tip of front sight, front rub at front of cylinder, and slight marks on right side of barrel. Trigger may also depict slight sign of same time period wear from being fired. Overall a very early Python that spend most of its existence as a safe queen - being 1 of 1350 made in the second year of production - A very desirable Colt shootable investment - Shipping/Insurance additional $35.00 - This revolver must be shipped to a FFL
