Description:
One Box of 18 Cartridges & 3 Clips. 1939 Military Italian made 7.35x51 Carcano loaded with a FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) projectiles and three clips for use in the model 38 Bolt Action rifle. the clip along are worth the cost. Sold as collectable.

The boxes are marked "Societa Metallurgica Italiana Stabilimento Di Campo Tizzoro." & "N.o 3 Caricatori Di Cartucce A Pallottola Cal. 7.35 Per Armi Mod.o 38, Polvere Alla Nitocellulosa Pura Partita." The ammunition is in six-round steel clips marked SMI and a five-pointed star (Fabrica Armi Terni) followed by 39. The "Star" in the SMI * 39 is part of the SMI marking, who made the clips as well as the ammo There are 18-rounds per cardboard box with three clips. Generally, the clips are clean, the cartridges are mostly clean with a little dust/grime due to the age of the ammunition. (1939) This ammunition is becoming rare and/or collectible because people have been firing it off, stripping them for the Clips for 6.5 Rifles, or breaking up the packets to sell individual clips as "collectible".. If you want to shoot your Model 38, this is just about the only military surplus production era ammo available. This ammo was only made for a little less than THREE YEARS(LATE 1938. TO MID-1940)

Just old stock. REAL Old Stock. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY old stock. Dated 1939. Like 81 years old.

This is Vintage Ammo. We are sorting through some 5000 rounds of all kinds of store or shelf stock and under the counter inventory. Some of this has price tags from 1999. Some earlier such as this listing 1939 is the date on this stuff.. So "New Old Stock" fits

The exact box you see is the exact box you get

This item came from the estate of a FFL/SOT/Gun Smith/Gun store. There will be countless more items listed as time permits. We figure it will take about 4 to 6 years to post the entire store to sell for the estate.  This is NOT a liquidation, just selling for the estate.   There are no lists and will be no list.   Way too much to even try.

Please check our other listings for more items as we sort through for the estate.  There is about 5000 Rounds of all kinds of shelf or store stock of modern, vintage and unique older ammuntion.
