This is a very nice all-original and lightly-used Walther PP semi-auto pistol in .22 LR caliber. It comes complete with the original box serial numbered to the gun, the factory extra magazine, the factory cleaning rod, and some paperwork. This Walther PP was made in West Germany in 1971 and features a gloss-blue factory finish and checkered black plastic grips. The factory blue finish rates 93 to 95%, with some minor handling marks and a few small spots of light finish wear. As you can see from the pictures, this is a very handsome Walther PP that does not have any bad spots or eyesores, just a little honest finish wear. The bore in this Walther is clean and bright with no pitting, erosion, or imperfections. The rifling still looks like-new with sharp lands and grooves throughout the barrel. The original factory grips on this pistol are in very good condition and free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or major dings/dents. Both grips are perfectly tight to the gun with no wiggle. The action on this Walther is slick and smooth with a superb frame-to-slide fit. All of the controls are in perfect working order and the trigger is quite good in either mode of operation. There is no doubt that this Walther will function 100% like the day it left the factory. These West German Walther PP's really have to be felt to be truly appreciated. The fit and finish is excellent and you can feel the quality in the gun, much nicer than most of the modern production .22 caliber stuff. If you have been looking for a new vintage .22 pistol for your collection this 1971-production Walther PP would be an excellent choice. Not only should it be a great long-term investment but it should be a lot of fun to shoot at the range or plink with.
