Boxlocks - This is a Churchill style gun but by a much smaller but respected maker. George Bate is listed as a gun maker in the village of Eastbourne in Sussex from 1894 to 1940. We have had a number of their guns over the years and they have always been of quality.

*Note the great dimensions and the 2 3/4" nitro proofs. This gun is in very nice condition with mirror bores and very tight.
