Description:
Here is a beauty that we just got in from the estate! This is a 1st year production (1939) Colt Woodsman Match Target Bullseye that is beautifully engraved by Valenya with lots of real silver inlays. Valenya is a very talented engraver and her work shows. The scrolls and inlays are very nice. The right side of the barrel/receiver has a cool depiction of a target shooter aiming at a bullseye which goes along well with the name! The grips are gorgeous real elephant ivory that has been professionally hand carved and checkered. Has the Colt logo, elephants, and the letter "M" carved into both sides. The grips also show some nice patina. The finish is a nice dark blue. Chambered in .22 LR. The barrel is 6.5 inches with a minty looking bore that has sharp rifling. Comes with one factory Colt magazine. Overall this is just a very beautiful work of art that needs a good home. Could be the centerpiece or look great alongside any collection!
