Description:
This is a uberti 1873 winchester replica in 45 colt with 20” barrel. I bought it new maybe four years ago, maybe 3, don’t exactly remember , got bullet molds and loading dies and a matching 45 colt revolver replica and added a marbles rear peep sight. Gave that one to a friend for his 1886 45-70 and I replaced it with the Lyman which is on it now.
Has a post front sight and I have the rear buckhorn that came on it as well as the box it came in.
I probably ran three or four hundred rounds through it before I tired of it because I got bitten by 1874 sharps 45-70 bug several years back and as I’ve gotten older that’s all I shoot anymore. pretty much all I load for anymore ,too. I don’t think I’ve put a round through this one in over 2 years, probably longer.
This rifle is in very good shape, hardly any knicks or dings, maybe a couple but putting that leather bullet holder on stock sure helped keep it clean. Of course bullets don’t go with it but everything else does.
Also, I have peep sight secured with just the tang screw. Didn’t particularly want to drill a hole in my rifle and the one screw holds it firmly and works well. I’ve hit 2x2 steel at 200 yards offhand with it so I know it’s pretty good.
Whoever buys it can change that but I just didn’t want to mar my pristine piece.
im putting $35 shipping because that’s what my local gun shop charges me and I’m sure ups maybe a little cheaper but they make it such a hassle I just pay the gun shop and be done with it
