Description:
This 1942 Winchester Model 24 started life as a 16 ga with 28 inch barrels bored modified and full. Along the way, a set of 26 inch 20 ga barrels, factory bored cylinder and modified, was added. This shotgun combo could be used to hunt just about any suitable bird or animal. It makes a good fun clays gun too. I'd rate the gun about 70% overall with most of the wear being on the wood. A previous owner placed his SS # lightly on the forend iron. The gun is tight with excellent bores and mechanics. It's all original down to the buttplate. The wood shows bumps and scrapes, but no cracks or splits. A lot a versatility for not a lot of money AND I'll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48!
