This is a rare find. A Marlin 1895 "CLTD" Century Limited Edition employee rifle. there are only 100 of these rifles in existance. 1 of 100 where made for the Marlin employees back in 1995-96. these rifles feature all hand engravings of a 24K gold in-layed Marlin horse and rider along with three elk grazing on the left side. 2400 of these rifles where made for the public but DO NOT have the gold horse and rider and has a differant engraving on the left side. This rifle is number 92 of 100, with 100th anniversary of the Marlin1895 engraved on the left. The right side Shows the 125th anniversary of the Marlin Firearms Company. This rifle features a half octagon half round 24" barrel with AAA grade American Walnut checkered stock and forgrip. This is an unfired rifle NIB. not fired beyond factory testing. There is a small blemish on the stock that is hard to find if you are not looking for it. rifle comes with the original decorative box and brown cardboard box as it was issued from Marlin Both boxes come with the original lables showing matching serial number. Blue book value on this rifle is over $3600.00 This is priced to sell because of the small blem on the stock.
