Description:
Serial #5D41391, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a pinned barrel revolver whose metal surfaces retain 92-95% original blue with some silvering at the muzzle, on the cylinder flutes, and some scattered spots of bright metal on the frame. There are some other minor handling marks, as well as a light turn-ring and minor surface scratches on the cylinder. The color case-hardening is still strong on the hammer and trigger with only some trace gray fading along the edges. The checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions are in very good-fine condition overall, with light handling marks, some flattening of the of the points on either side, and carry wear on the butt of the left panel. The lock-up is still tight, and this is a very nice Model 10 “Snub Nose" in fine plus condition. FFL
