Description:
Serial #182811, 20 Ga. (2 3/4"), 24" unchoked barrels with fine bores that have some traces of freckling. The barrels of this handy little gun were shortened at some point, and have retained 80-85% of their original blue with some mild fading along the sides of the barrels towards the breech, and a series of lightly pitted spots on the left tube near the muzzle. The frame has thin, but visible, original color case-hardening, and some smudges of brown protective grease along the edges of the frame. The walnut pistol grip buttstock and forend have numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes in the added varnish finish. The stock has a 14 1/8" length of pull to an old Pachmayr recoil pad and drops of 1 3/4" and 2 3/4" respectively. The lock-up is still tight and the lever rests just right of center. This is a nice little, usable Ithaca, and rates good plus-very good overall. FFL or C&R
