SALE PENDING on this L.C. Smith Field Grade SxS 12Ga shotgun made by Marlin in New Haven Conn.U.S.A.The gun has double triggers and extractors.It has 28" VR Barrels and it is choked Full and Modified.The bores are shiny and clean.The drop is about 21/2" and LOP is 14".The blue and case colors are super nice rated 98%. I see a small spot on the trigger guard slightly bigger than a pin head and a few light scratches on the barrels.The wood is a dark walnut with a nice grain and cut checkering.The checkering is sharp with no wear. The pistol grip has a black plastic cap and the butt plate is black plastic with horizontal grooves.The wood has no cracks or extra holes. I see a few minor dings here and there but very minimal that you really have to look for. I rate the wood at 98% also. The owner of this gun had a additional Beavertail Forend made which is also included along with a Browning fitted Hard Case. These L.C. Smith Marlin SxS shotguns were made 1968-71. This gun is in near new condition with very light use and you will not be disappointed.
