For sale is a Buehler Base with 7/8" rings. The rings are in great shape, as is the base. The base is all steel.
I am not sure what application the base and rings are for. I purchased this with a group of other items, and the fellow told me he thought they were for an early Model 70, but Ihave no verification of that at all.
So, let me give you some dimensions of the base:
The base is 6 3/8" in length. It is 3/4" wide. The 2 holes from the back of the base are 2 1/2" apart, center to center.
The holes from the front of the base are 2 5/8" center to center.
The front hole is 1" from the end of the base. The rear hole is 1/8" from the rear of the base.
The width of the rings is a little more than 1/2" wide, I would say 10/16". This is all steel construction would be very sturdy.
I am not very familiar with Buehler rings and bases. I do not know if these Buehler rings would fit other Buehler bases.
The height of the base at the back is 3/8" inch.
The height of the base at the front might be the same, or perhaps just a hair less.
The rings are split at the bottom, obviously, for compression purposes.
