Manufactured in 1884, this beautiful .44-40 black powder Single Action was returned to the factory around 1915 and completely restored and fitted with a new pair of Colt factory 2-piece walnut grips. Apparently, it was then put away as a family keep-sake and never used, and remains today in near new condition. All major parts have their original matching serial number, # 102673, and the factory rework number, # 310B. Except for the grips, all parts are original to the 1884 date of manufacture. Nothing has been replaced. It is extremely tight and works perfectly, and is a great example of an antique Frontier Six-Shooter.
