Nice honest 1913 vintage Colt Model 1911 U.S. Army chambered in .45 ACP. This Pre-WWI era U.S. service pistol is in very fine original condition. All of the parts are 100% correct, including the the properly marked barrel and two-tone magazine. The bore is bright with strong rifling, but does show some frosting near the throat and in the grooves. All functions work as they should, and this Colt is in perfect working order. The original double diamond grips have sharp checkering and are free of any cracks or repairs. The metal is smooth, with sharp markings, and free of any pitting. This would make an excellent representative piece for any collection that could still be taken out to the range without affecting its value.
