Manufactured in 1873, this 2nd Model American is in good original condition and has a beautiful pair of period ivory grips. In the centwer of the raised sun-burst panel on the left side, is what appears to be a "liberty" cap. There are no chips or cracks and they have aged to a light yellow patina. The gun retains about 85-90% original nickel. the bore is good and the action is crisp. A very niceSmith & Wesson Am,erican with outstanding grips.
