Description:
This is a Safari grade Browning with the SAKO action, stocked by FN in Belgium. This 222 Rem. cal. rifle has a S/N of 1305Y4, which translates to a 1964 production date. The rifle is absolutly original in all aspects from the fine walnut stock, to the fantastic deep blue metal finish. The stock shows little to no handling marks, and the checkering is sharp as day one. This rifle has the lightweight 22" pencil barrel without sights, that displays a mint bore. The bolt has the correct matching S/N to the receiver. All the proof marks and script are crisp and clear, and the original butt plate is nearly perfect. The rifle comes with a correct vintage Browning 4X scope that is crystal clear, with fine crosshairs.I doubt there is any finer example out there, short of unfired in the box.
