Mauser (BRNO) K98k, Coded "dot 1944" Ser. 2750.
This is an outstanding example of the BRNO 44 production. There is about 95% of the original factory blue remaining. The little loss there is, is mostly due to sharp edge silvering. There are no rust spots, rub marks or scratches anywhere.
The receiver has has two Eagle/63s and two Eagle/Swastika stamps. The barrel one Eagle Swastika and a Shield /DOT.13. All parts including the the stock, rear sight, floor plate and barrel bands. The top of the hand guard is also correctly stamped "DOT". The late war laminated wood in super nice condition. There does not have a chip or a split just a few tiny surface dings. The capped butt plate does have severa small patches light pin pricks.
The bore is fine as the rest of the gun. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling and just a touch of scattered frost. It comes with one original cleaning rod. It is really doubtful that this Rack Queen saw much of the war.
