J Henry & Son made many of the old halfstock style for US Indian trade. all had US stamp behind trigger guard. This Naval model one has deep stamped anchor. Stamp on lockplate J. Henry & Son. German silver front sight , buckhorn rear sight. Plain walnut half stock with brass fittings. Nice cheek rest carved on left side. Good dark brown patina. Wood very good with minor nicks and scratches. There is what looks like a small localized crack in front of the trigger guard.
