This scarce US Cavalry Colt Single Action Army Revolver was inspected by Samuel B. Lewis, Lewis was a government inspector and is likely the rarest inspector to find behind Wheeler. Lewis inspected approximately 230-360 Colt Single Action Armies in his time. This Colt comes with the authority John Kopec Letter where he describes the gun and tells some history, his description would mean much more to read then me typing away. This action does function, the grips markings are very interested. Condition is as stated like in Kopec letter, with a nice light patina. Lewis inspected Colt Single Actions rarely come up for sale, don’t miss your opportunity to obtain one!
