The Hell's Canyon SPEED bolt-action rifle features a composite stock finished in A-TACS AU (Arid/Urban) camouflage, and the barrel features a Cerakote® Burnt Bronze finish. An Inflex Technology™ recoil pad keeps the buttstock firmly in place, and reduces recoil along with the threaded muzzle brake for greater control on follow up shots. Browning's Feather Trigger enhances potential accuracy by providing a clean, crisp pull with no take-up and minimum overtravel. The X-Bolt bolt-action rifle also features a glass-bedded steel receiver that's drilled and tapped for attaching scope mount. 3 locking lugs provide exceptional strength and a short 60° bolt lift that cycles smooth and fast, while keeping a wide margin of space between your hand and the scope sight as you work the action. A detachable, rotary magazine feeds cartridges directly in-line with the chamber, instead of feeding offset as with conventional magazines. The Browning X-Bolt also features a top-tang safety with bolt unlock button that allows you to open the bolt for loading or inspection with the tang safety in the safe position.
