.44 caliber, 8" barrel, S/N 123679 (ca. 1863). Blued finish with replacement one-piece walnut grip. Top of barrel shows one-line Colt New York address. Typical colt markings with grips showing faint military cartouches.
In good condition. Overall plumb patination to barrel with some evidence of cleaning and polishing to brass parts of frame. Cylinder scene obliterated with some evidence of cleaning on frame. Action is good with strong dark bore. Handling wear and blemishes to grips.
